Publisher's Synopsis
1980 is the story of a family like any, or almost all: idiot. I mean, normal. Here is an open-minded mother in Madrid in the late 1970s, who suddenly becomes a widow and discovers freedom, but she also has to raise her children. There is also a cruel grandmother who takes care of those children. And there is, above all, an elegant Catalan bourgeois. It appears one afternoon or one night in 1980, with its shadows and its secrets in tow, and will end up changing everyone's life. In a very special way, the narrator is a cowardly and furious child.
