A Bed-Stuy Story is short about a family's and their struggles to survive in Bedford- Stuyvesant while at the same time, participating in improving the poor, sleazy, crime infested areas that surrounded them. It was a daunting task, sometimes inhospitable, sometimes depressing, but a hopeful and struggling neighborhood in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.
