Publisher's Synopsis

The story opens with the obtrusive invasion of the Caribbean by licentious European adventurers who ravaged the people, the land and the habitat of the indigenous tribal groups of the Caribs, Arawaks and Tainos. The Caribs, being the most aggressive of the indigenous people, fought the Europeans for more than a century, delaying their rapacious control over the Caribbean. The story begins with the death of a Carib Warrior who becomes a Spirit Guide. The story follows the history of the Innocent family from their Carib roots, through the ghastly nineteenth century colonial system, into the "Jim Crow" twentieth century of the United States, with a few stops about the world and then into the twenty first century of diminished returns; narrated by the Spirit Guide who is bound to the Innocent Clan. It's an ongoing adventure of the Carib Son that has many twists and turns that will continue on into the future. There are adventures yet to come.
