A little girl of three sat on her mother's knee listening to the grown ups talking about the next days events. What she wished for was to be able to travel into space to touch just one star. people believed that it was impossible for girls to become Astronauts. Kathy believes that making a wish would come true if you she worked hard to achieve her goal. With out doubt she believed in her heart that all good things will happen in time knowing and believing in yourself to become what you wished for. Her journey to explore how she would make her dream come true took her to the public Library one day looking for books on space. The Librarian told her about the Space Camp at Nassa that was available for the summer months and that is where she started her adventure.
