Publisher's Synopsis

It is Christmas Eve and the miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old friend Marley who warns Scrooge that he must mend his ways or pay as dearly as he has. Marley is followed by three more spirits, first the ghost of Christmas past who draws him through the Christmases of his youth, second the ghost of Christmas present who shows him how those few in his life (the Cratchit's and his nephew namely) are spending their evening. Finally the ghost of Christmas yet to come shows him the sorrow and loneliness his miserly ways have inflicted on himself and those closest to him. With the dawn of Christmas Day, Scrooge has many lessons learned and makes his way out in the world to begin to put things right.
