This is a story of Sadman, a Middle Eastern dictator who wants, above all, to have a nuclear weapon. His scientists can’t build one and this puts him into an almighty rage. Out of desperation, his chief advisor suggests he asks Father Christmas for the weapon.
Father Christmas’ elves cobble together an H Bomb but it is, unfortunately, delivered from on high and Sadman is blown skywards, never to be seen again. The moral of this part of the story is beware what you wish for.
The Americans are angry with Sadman for having a nuclear weapon. They also want to have a war to stoke up their ailing economy. As they can’t find Sadman, they can’ have a war and, because they can’t have a war, their economy collapses. The global economy follows suit but Santa comes to the rescue by buying anything that anyone wants to sell. He makes all the stuff he buys into wonderful toys.
Thus, Father Christmas becomes the only superpower and the whole world lives happily ever after...
