Publisher's Synopsis

This is a must have book! Beautifully illustrated by the author. Anne gives us interesting facts about each fruit and vegetable, adding personal stories centered around her father's garden.
The author then went on to develop her own recipes. This book makes a perfect gift for yourself and anyone you care about. Enjoy !
As a child, Anne would ask her grandmother and great aunt Mid to let her help prepare the family's Sunday dinner. Nana said, "If you want to learn to be a good cook, go sit on the green stool and watch everything we do." That proved to be excellent advice. Anne continued to learn from experienced cooks, studying French cuisine under Jon Lou'ie at the Stone House in Exton, PA. She supplied pastries for professional caterers and began the annual Spring Luncheon for the Berks County Historic Preservation Trust. Anne enjoys creating new recipes and finds inspiration in her extensive collection of cookbooks, some dating back to the 18th century.
