Publisher's Synopsis
This guide was first published in 1997. Much has changed in the world of funding since that date, and, under the auspices of The British Library's Co-operation and partnership Programme, this new edition has been produced. The aim is to provide a brief but comprehensive guide to sources of additional funding and revenue, providing a one-stop reference work for ideas, information and practical advice, of particular relevance to librarians and archivists. The guide includes practical advice on how to plan and implement a funding application, concise information about the foremost national funding schemes and trusts, as well as a section giving information and advice about lottery funding.
