There are a lot of SECOND CHANCE romance books and also SINGLE PARENT FINDS LOVE romance novels, but our anthology combines the two tropes into one and also sets it on Mother's Day. This sets our anthology apart, because while there are often single parent romance novels set during the Christmas holiday, I could not find any set around Mother's Day as the holiday theme. It is a void we can fill.
So many romance readers are single mum's who just wish they, too, had a knight in shining armor (or doctor's scrubs, or fireman's uniform) to sweep them off their feet. Most single mothers read to escape from the stressful life of being a single parent. So focusing on mothers means we can give these hardworking women romances they can both relate to as parents and dream about having, but also time the book release so it is seen as a present to thank and celebrate them mothers on Mother's Day for all the hard work they do.
