A Spot to Call Home is a dog's journey to finding her forever family. The hardships of one dog to finally be with the people who can love her as much as she loves them. Kailyn Boyd writes/improvised the story of finding her dog and how her dog found her. Kailyn Boyd, a 7th grader, wrote A Spot to Call Home to promote the importance of rescuing homeless animals. Her Girl Scout Silver Award project consisted of writing, selling and donating half of the profits and sharing her book with the community to show the positive impact a dog has on people. She was also selected to work with The Atlanta Humane Society and Purina for a video helping promote pet adoption.
