The exact details of the flight were quietly suppressed and never revealed .... until now. This is the story of the -Spirit of San Jon-, an early experimental prototype of the F-111 and two brothers. Roger McConnell is an Air Force test pilot and Alan -Stormy- McConnell is the lead designer and project engineer for a major aircraft company contracted to build the F-111. However, nothing in the F-111 flight testing program could have foreseen the delivery of a messianic message with a request for the brothers commitment to fly an unauthorized mission halfway round the world guided and executed by faith alone. The brothers careers and interests track in close harmony but their faith and belief in God are miles apart. The message presents a personal challenge ...and a second chance for all mankind.
