"A Commuter" is a story inspired by the author's experiences during a commute outside of Europe. "Loki and the Pit" tells the tragic story of a family that through misunderstandings and secrets, falls apart. "The Last Ordeal of Hebe" explores the discourse of the unconscious and the descent into madness. The main character floats between the conscious and unconscious state. I was born in Ghent (14-06-1979) where I finished my studies in comparative culture with a major in psychology and psychoanalysis. After earning a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management, I have worked as a Human Resources Advisor. This first book was completed during my time at the university and is mainly influenced by the works of Marguerite Duras and Jacques Lacan.
