Publisher's Synopsis
The second edition has been revised to more closely align with the most current 2020 CED with updated content and a topical organization. It prepares students for the AP exam by exploring the four chronological periods and nine units covered by the course. The text includes primary sources, document-based questions (DBQs), features that provided guided practice in developing argumentaltion skills and expressing historical understanding, and a complete practice exam. New features include questions added to the Historical Perspectives feature to better assis studes in processing content and multiple-choice and short-answer questions aligned wo the College Board's revised format and rigor for question types.
