Publisher's Synopsis
The short story is about an imaginary aboriginal tribe called Urugu, who inhabit a rainforest. These nomadic people live by hunting and gathering. The main character is the tribe leader's son, named Igasho. He is already accustomed to his father's duties as a youngster. He also marries an unpopular woman, called Chenoa. They live in quite happily in a marriage until a war starts in their homeland. Their village is attacked by a group of colonialists from a neighboring country, Monavitz. Igasho along with his wife are taken hostage by the colonialists. They are then brought to a concentration camp, where their future seems gray to them of course. Will Igasho and his wife and ever survive from their harsh fate?
