When Coach DD Mendenhall meets his new baseball team for the first time, he's not sure what he's gotten himself into. Out of the thirteen players on the team, only a handful of them have any experience on the baseball field. One league official tells him they might place fourth by the end of the season - if they're lucky. But Coach DD refuses to let the low expectations of others determine how far his scrappy little team will go.
