This book tells the autobiography of Rytasha, born into a wealthy family she was haunted by a fear of death from the age of six onwards. Dissatisfaction with a materialistic way of life drove her to join a hippy movement, then to lead a bohemian lifestyle in New York, Paris, Rome and London. She had a number of affairs with different people who included film directors and movie stars. She then became a top model - appearing on the cover of "Harper's and Queen" - and a film starlet, appearing in the film "Klute".;She later joined the Hari Krishna Movement but things began to go wrong when her guru began to prosecute her. After a mystical experience she left to set up Food Relief International, and the feeding, teaching and healing she performed in the poverty-stricken villages of Bangladesh, led her to become known as the Angel of Bengal.
