Publisher's Synopsis

Tia and Tamera are teenage African American twins who were adopted at birth into different families. Tamera lives in an affluent suburb with her single father, a conservative businessman. Tia lives in the city with her single mother, an outspoken seamstress. When the girls discover each other in the mall one day, they persuade their very different parents that they should all live together - with some very funny results.
Tamera falls for a rap-singing senior and tries to get noticed, while Tia's male chauvinist maths teacher makes her doubt there is such a thing as the right guy.
