Publisher's Synopsis
Happily married with two adored children, a successful architect and avid amateur aviator, Allan Daniels, finds his life turning into a nightmare when his wife suddenly announces that she wants a divorce. Two days later, the engine fails on his Cessna 185 seaplane and he ditches in the Everglades. When Daniels gets into a fight with his Native American rescuer, he inadvertently kills him and steals his boat. Daniels' eventual confession of guilt sets off a whole new chain of events that will change his life forever.
