Alma didn't ask for this.
When she was first admitted into the dilapidated Elijah Asylum at a disturbingly young age, she didn't quite understand what was happening. She knew that something horrible had happened and that her parents had died because of it, but she couldn't quite recall what happened, what the inciting incident was, what the thing that changed her life was.
Alma receives even fewer answers when she begins to hallucinate. Humans turning into monsters of dark goo and claws should only be found in nightmares or her unfortunate reality. How ironic it was to lose one's sanity in a place where it should be restored.
Things get even worse for poor Alma when a mysterious voice starts to whisper in her head-whispering vague, ominous images of a less-than-ideal future. Visions begin to plague her. A new, deadly doctor and a strange boy with a mysterious past appear at the asylum. Alma now must take matters into her own hands ... or pay the price for stagnancy.
