Scarlet is a 17 year old girl, left alone in her world after a strange string of bombings occur all over areas of the United States of America. After wandering around the demolished aftermath that once was New Mexico, the young girl is rescued by a curious group of survivors. Shortly after settling in to the place she would soon consider home, she finds herself unhappy with how the head of the house; Alec, is handling survival. Passion consumes Scarlet as she takes a hold of the reigns and pushes the group to not only survive, but to thrive. To rebuild on the remains of a once lively neighborhood. But when Scarlet begins to uncover facts about the attacks that took her family away and is presented with a chance at revenge, she struggles to decide if working to rebuild a now dead town in New Mexico is enough. As her newfound friends fight for Scarlet's sanity, Scarlet fights her to follow the deepest desire of her heart; revenge. As things begin to continuously fall apart within the group of survivors, they begin to question their next step. Which path will they choose? Survival or revenge?
