Publisher's Synopsis
Amy is sixteen-years-old and about as average, as normal as a human being is allowed to be. She is a self-described "good Catholic girl," active in her church, self-conscience but no more than the rest of us. Strong in her faith, a bit unworldly, maybe even naive . . . Happenstance and an odd series of events places Amy, in the middle of the night, lost in the woods, in a ramshackle house, standing over a child stricken with fever.
