The volume opens with an essay overviewing the Annales movement. Part One covers works on the history and theory of the movement, and Part Two covers the historians and their important works. The annotated entries include articles, monographs, dissertations, and book chapters in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian.
