Margaret Millar, Patricia Highsmith, Leslie Ford, Charlotte Armstrong, Dorothy B. Hughes, Mignon Eberhart, and Phoebe Atwood Taylor are in no way similar in style, theme, or subject matter. However, their writings created an Atomic Renaissance that continues to impact today's mystery field.
