Ava Noelle has dreamed about climbing the behemoth, century old tower for over a year. It is the very tower her grandfather and great uncle climbed as kids. Ava wants to enhance their legacy. What is worse, the tower is in Buffalo, New York, nearly 700 miles from where she lives. But then, miraculously, one day Ava finds herself standing in the pouring rain outside the tower. She hops the fence and begins her climb. But as soon as she gets to the back gate she is propelled inside the tower's darkness by an unseen power. It is the same power that will compel her to descend a centuries old rickety, spiral staircase. A set of steps that will take her to the incredible Inner World beneath Earth's crust.
