One photographer embarked a joourney in the winter of 2016 to find out what if a single word could be used by a woman to define a woman. What she discovered is that womanhood is unique, authentic, real, and raw. Using models from ages 5 to 67 of all shapes, sizes, and color, the awakening and empowerment of the models is captured in raw black and white photos. Photographed in St. Louis, MO, these photos has spaked a movement of empowerment and authenticity among those that view the work.
