Steven's mission in Tucson is to buy Marissa's ranch and make good on his bet to seduce her while he's there. Instead, a time travel portal whisks them 140 years in the past. They're faced with assorted Wild West horrors and must overcome their mutual mistrust as they struggle to find a way home. As Marissa and Steven are forced to work together in secret to overcome continued obstacles, they begin to see each other's strengths and understand what made them how they are. But will it be enough to save them? Author's Note: I've written over 20 non-fiction self-help books BUT love reading time-travel romance novels. This unwritten story haunted me for decades. I finished editing it and published it in honor of my 70th year on Earth. Hope it touches your heart as it's touched mine.
