Publisher's Synopsis
The "Tiddly Quid", as she was affectionately known, first saw service in World War I. With her sister ships Repulse, Renown and Resolution, she battled her way through World War II. She served in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean before joining the Far Eastern Fleet. In 1944 she was loaned to the Russian Navy and was only returned by the Russians in 1949. In this work, naval historian Peter Smith details her career and those of her sister ships, using first person recollections wherever possible.
