Ulysses is an antihero of a peculiar odyssey that is also not very far-reaching. An eternal adolescent from a lower middle-class Buenos Aires neighbourhood, he has only one desire: to escape. In his comical attempts to do so, he appears as an archetype of a growing fringe of Argentine society, part of a generation lacking opportunity and forced to struggle with mere survival.
