The county Coilinack was well known for two things: its delicious apples and its untamed forests. It's was a land of contrasting lifestyles and ideals. The land of orchards boasted a civilized society based on class and status. The wild woodlands contained a simpler folk who followed the ways of nature and possessed the gift of magic. Alex grew up the child of two servants in the manor house of Coilinack's presiding Count. She was expected to follow in her parents' footsteps and grow up to serve just as they had, but Alex dreamt of sometime more. She dreamt of forging her own path, of solving mysteries, and of becoming a hero. Little did she know that an interaction with one of the Mactíre, the magical folk of the forest, would change her life forever. She had longed for an adventure and a mystery to unravel, and that was exactly what her future held. When a dream come true became her worst nightmare, she was thrust into the adventure of a lifetime. She was now an enigma to herself and must undertake a dangerous and difficult quest to change her fate.
