How can a series of brutal killings in New York possibly be linked with a 200-year-old murder in Wales? Is it conceivable that the President of the United States is involved in a cover-up? Private detective and former Special Boat Services Marine, Raven Conner, is hired to investigate and becomes a key figure in one of DCI Terry McGuire's most frustrating cases. Dead bodies are discovered, apparently the racially motivated slaughter of a respected shopkeeper and his wife. The team interview a number of suspects. Just when McGuire thinks things can't get worse as he tackles multiple crimes, a former prostitute is attacked and left for dead. With resources stretched to the limits McGuire and his team must connect the dots and solve the cases.
