Annie has a secret; one that keeps her up at night, checking locks and doors until she can't trust what she's seen and what she's imagined. And this secret only gets worse when she discovers a dead body in her backyard at the start of her (hopefully) last summer in small town Louisiana. Now, she's questioning everything she knows. Was it murder or suicide? Who was the girl found floating in her bayou? And how well did she know the girl, if she knew her at all? Annie has to face her family, her inner demons, her deteriorating mental state, and even death as she begins to unravel the mystery of the girl she's found...
