So many people wonder what Borderline personality disorder is all about. Think of them as people with a third-degree burn - over 90% of their bodies lacks emotional skin. They are constantly in agony at the slightest movement or touch. This is how you can start putting yourself in their shoes. When you do this, you will begin to realize that what they go through is quite unimaginable.
What this means is that people with BPD lack the ability to regulate their emotions, thoughts and actions. The exact word you can use in a "Dysregulation disorder." This is a name that is less stigmatizing.
