Commissioned by the UK Political Studies Association to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its foundation in 1950, all the contributions are drawn from the archives of Political Studies - the UK's best known political science journal. The editors have selected 18 key articles covering political theory, British politics, comparative politics and political economy, and introduced them for a contemporary audience.
