The Earth has been destroyed, and the humans are looking for a new galaxy. They found one, the only problem was they had difficulties with the native species. Mikaneh is a Creytian longing to go home to her planet after being marked for death. She had taken part in a rebellion to overthrow their mad King.
Thirty years have passed since then, and the galaxy is in even more turmoil. She answers a signal broadcast for help from the humans' Peace Federation. The only problem is it turns out to be her worst nightmare. Their request is not something for the faint of heart, it's just a good thing she has experience.Can she find the male she served with to help her? Can she over come her fears and rid the world of a genocidal king.
