On the left, are a woman wearing a yellow bodice and a blue skirt, carrying a lamb under her arm, and a boy with a stick, driving a red cow; four goats, a sheep, a dog, and a fifth goat are on the left. A little retired, on the Opposite side, is a second group, composed of a man on a dark-grey horse, a boy on foot. Two cows and four sheep; the road winds round the base of a hillock, and at the extremity of the turning are two travellers on horseback. Beyond these, the view is bounded by blue mountains.
