Publisher's Synopsis

Bruno the train conductor finds that he is living life through his passengers, not his own. His curiosity about the world takes hold and one day he steps off the train, finds himself on the Sea shore, and the adventure begins. He fills a bottle with Sea water to remind him of its beauty, but when he sees that the water in the bottle is clear, he dives in to find the color of the Sea at the bottom. He meets Sea creatures and unlikely friends along the way, and sees things he could never have imagined. He comes to shore in a new land, at each stop he finds lights beckoning him, lanternfish in the Sea, forest light mushrooms, stars, all help him find his way. Meanwhile his Sea friends have their own adventure on land, and finally, when Bruno is tired and far from home, the friend Bruno least expects helps him find his way home. This book is written in English, Spanish, and Hungarian. Ages 3 to 6.
