Standing in front of the window on the third floor of Grippers Hospital, in Grippers Oklahoma, Leroy Doursea stares through the reflection in the window. The frail body propped up in the hospital bed behind him tore at his heart, as the swishing on and off of the automatic blood pressure gage keeps perfect time with the mocking cloud hugging the hospital outside like a slug, slithering across refuge, leaving behind a trail of slime.
