Publisher's Synopsis

Daiwi, meaning Captain in Vietnamese, is about the life experiences of Chuck Pfeifer. Chuck graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played on its football team. He went on to become a MACV/SOG Special Forces Captain during the Vietman War. Twenty-five years after the War, he returned to Vietnam and had the opportunity to conduct an interview with the renowned Vo Nguyen Giap, who led the North Vietnamese Army and planned the TET offensive. Check bares his soul in Daiwi. After returning home, he entered advertising, moved on to movies and became the face of Winston Cigarettes in a national TV ad.
