Instead of feeding on her he offers Katalise the option of becoming his fledgling. She denies his request but that doesn't stop the curious ancient being. He is intrigued by the teen and wants to know more about the girl who knows of the supernatural world that's considered fictional by humans. In this tale of love and loss, Zeno will find that his life as a vampire isn't what he thought it could be and Katalise will find out that she's not as alone as she was led to believe.
