Publisher's Synopsis
Abigail, the new sheriff in town, does her best to maintain order in the mining town while her father works hard to build his mining machine. He's plagued by mishaps and trouble. The latest has put him in the hospital. Once she discovers sabotage, she begins her investigation, but her attention is pulled in several directions as more and more things go wrong in town. A mysterious explosion, a rogue artificial leg, and unexpected appearances all vie for her attention. There are still odd distractions by the ghost of Alister Limon as he insists she prevent her father from putting his mining machine to work. She must focus on the most important task first; keeping everyone, including her father, safe. Even if that means shutting down the mine against the mayor's wishes.
