Publisher's Synopsis
This handbook provides aggregate national statistics on approximately 175 US economic indicators. It presents historical and current perspectives on the US economy by showing original values for all statistics since their inception, as well as recalculated and rebased figures reflecting current values. Each statistical series includes methods of calculation, inclusions and exclusions, historical overview and changes in definition over time. Actual statistics covered include consumer price index, gross national product, and rate of inflation.
