Publisher's Synopsis
Nathan Palmer and Jeff Morgan happen across the victim of an ambush. The dying man gives them a cryptic message about ten thousand dollars being available in Fort Benton in five days' time. However, arriving at Fort Benton to get the money, they come up against Mayor Decker and his ruthless form of justice. Soon the pair are beaten up and thrown in jail. In Decker's clutches, they're going to need all their courage if they are ever to escape.
