Publisher's Synopsis
Feathers as Soft as Iron is a short story I wrote for a short story competition years ago. Since it was a winner, I thought I'd bring it to the rest of the world. The story follows a young and greedy man by the name of Nathan, who is recruited to pilot a ship in order to hunt down some rogue military "projects" that have escaped. Knowing full well that the assignment was dangerous, Nathan did not realize that his Captain was bent on revenge. Nathan sees his Captain as a crazed lunatic who would blindly destroy himself in order to achieve his ultimate goal. However, focusing on the Captain has caused him to turn a blind eye to his own short comings.
