<p> The<i><b> Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)</b></i> contains the uniform policies and procedures for acquisitions by executive agencies of the federal government. The <i><b>FAR</b></i> is issued and maintained by the Department of Defense, the General Services Administration, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
