A novel about the youth of today in trouble and giving out trouble. The central figure is Billy Mackenzie, Ontario's "Golden Boy", a nineteen year old for whom everything was possible. Disenchantment sets in and all he wants is to be free and so begins his rapid and wilful fall from grace.
