Grimm's fairy tales were first published in 1812 by Grimm brothers Jacob and William. The first volume of the first edition was published in 1812 and contains 86 stories. The second volume contains 70 stories and was subsequently published in 1815. The second edition published two volumes in 1819 and the third volume in 1822 with 170 stories. The third edition was published in 1837. Fourth edition, 1840; fifth edition, 1843; sixth edition, 1850; seventh edition, 1857. This is a special edition with 62 stories.
