Tracy Jax is a retired First Lieutenant of the U.S. Army and a cold case private eye. Tracy has just been given the case of a century, she has to try and find out what happened to a missing person from ten years ago, with no clues or witnesses. Tracy has just about given up on love, when Captain Jeff Watkins of Precinct 216 in Albuquerque, New Mexico is placed to assist her on solving this case. Now if only Tracy can resist the urge to have Jeff in her bed and get the case solved quickly.Jeff feels as if he's staring at a ghost when he sees Tracy Jax, she is the spitting image of the missing girl he has vowed he would find even after ten years he hasn't given up on the case, he can't; the missing girl is his ex-girlfriend. Jeff feels he is losing his mind when he starts seeing people that no one else can see, but these apparitions are giving him and Tracy clues on solving the case. If Jeff can just deny the urge of wanting to be with Tracy and solve the case then he will be Okay.
