Publisher's Synopsis
John Crowley's black-comedy (and directorial debut) is set in the suburbs of Dublin and centres around a group of characters all interlinked by a chain of events. A trial break-up between John (Cillian Murphy) and Deirdre (Kelly Macdonald) sees Deirdre taking up with bank manager Sam (Michael McElhatton). John's friend - and small-time crook - Lehiff (Colin Farrell) encourages John to help set Sam up, by robbing the bank's vaults. Lehiff, meanwhile, is being tailed by Jerry (Colm Meaney), a Dublin cop who is himself being followed by a TV news-crew...
