Publisher's Synopsis
John McClung and Rebecca Stuart were Scotch Irish immigrants who came to America hoping to find a better life. They married in 1726, and became settlers on the borders of Virginia Colony. They faced untold dangers in the wilderness during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War while raising their family. This book is an historical accounting of their lives. An Appendix with source documents for readers interested in the genealogy of the McClung family is included at the rear of the volume.
