Publisher's Synopsis

Kore grew up under the protective shadow of her mother, Demeter. Never allowed out of her home, Kore dreamed of the day she'd be made a real goddess and could finally be seen as an adult. With her mother and her nursemaid, Minthe, keeping track of everything she does, Kore has little time to discover herself. Then, while taking classes on household management from her aunt Hestia, Kore learns she's past due for her Goddess Ceremony. Demeter had been so successful in keeping Kore out of the eyes of the other gods that they all forgot her age. She is able to convince her mother to allow her to have her Goddess Ceremony with Hedone, daughter of Psyche and Eros. Slowly, Kore starts to find her own assertiveness and finds herself attracted to a mysterious man. On the day of her ceremony, Kore learns the man she thought she was falling for is Hades! Hades must get Kore to the Underworld and become his bride, or all of the Station is lost. Kore may be willing to be around Hades, but does he have her trust to take that final step? Demeter is determined to not lose this daughter to the dark depths of the Underworld and installed such a fear of Hades into Kore that it might be impossible for her to accept her fate. Even if Kore can accept Hades, Demeter has one last trick up her sleeve that can destroy all life on Space Station Olympus if Kore doesn't follow her orders.
